Visual & Layout
• Home page:
– 6 buttons at the top for navigation: Tracks, Album Artists, Albums, Playlists, Track mix and Decade mix;
– Quick Picks: favorite songs in a random order;
– Best albums: favorite albums in a random order;
– Best artists: favorite artists in a random order;
– Best playlists: favorite playlists in a random order;
– New albums: last added albums;
– Remember these albums: its just another name for "Rediscover albums";
– History: last played songs along with last played albums;
– Utilities: 3 buttons which are Library, Sync All and Settings — consequently, Settings is no longer pinned to the top-right corner;
• Some badges on the home page are sorted randomly to be more dynamic;
• All badges stay hidden if empty expect History;
• Adjusted element proportions across all screens to guarantee visual consistency and pixel-perfect alignment throughout the app;
• Designed a proper landscape layout for the Now Playing screen — I totally forgot about it in the previous version since I never use my phone in landscape mode, but here it is for the peace of mind.
UI & Typography
• The font color of the "Lossless" badge on the Now Playing screen is now locked to white;
• My system font is SamsungOne, and the Symfonium font is set to "System Default". The pre-installed font in the app that is closest to it is Lato.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed a bug on the Now Playing screen where the bottom shadow of the album cover cut off abruptly instead of fading out naturally.
