4-Way

For those that remember carrying around a dedicated MP3 player, this was built with a buttons-only mindset.

The default button assignments were chosen to mimic the 4-Way Arrow buttons that many MP3 players had. (Actually, I was aiming for a circular control ring, but a diamond is the closest we can do :P )

Special Buttons

• Tap the MODE button to toggle the text-display between Current/Next Track Info
• Long-press MODE to access the Smart Flow/Queue menu

• Tap the RATING button to rate the current song
• Long-press RATING to show/hide the rating over the cover art

• Long-press the Cover Art for the full "More Actions" menu

If you want to change any of the buttons...

...you'll be looking to edit the Icon Actions for Strings 3-6 and the Controls Button Bar.

MODE uses String 4's tap/long-press actions while RATING uses those of String 5.

Landscape Changes

Landscape has less room for buttons so I had to make do with a bit more touchscreen-style controls.

• Long-press the Rating itself to toggle its visibility. (You can tap here to rate the track even when it is hidden!)
• Swipe Up to toggle the Lyrics view
